TELUS Health MyPet
Role: UX / UI & Digital Design | Project: Web Experience | Agency: Pound & Grain
The Challenge
TELUS launched TELUS Health MyPet, a virtual veterinary service designed for Canadian pet owners. The task was to create a promotional website that introduced the product clearly while shifting the tone away from TELUS’ traditional corporate presence.
The experience needed to feel warm, trustworthy, and approachable without compromising clarity or credibility.

Despite TELUS’ established corporate identity, the visual direction for MyPet required a softer, more human tone. The design introduced organic shapes, rounded containers, and subtle graphic accents to create warmth without compromising clarity.
Lifestyle imagery featuring pets and their owners reinforced relatability and trust, grounding the digital experience in real-life interactions. The result balances professionalism with approachability, aligning the brand with the emotional context of pet care.
UX Architecture
The wireframing phase focused on simplifying complex information into a clear, intuitive structure. Key user actions, such as downloading the app and understanding how virtual consultations work, were prioritized early in the journey.
Content hierarchy was carefully mapped to balance reassurance, education, and conversion. Each section was designed to answer common questions while guiding users toward booking or downloading.
Visual Direction
The visual direction translated TELUS’ brand into a softer, more human digital experience. Organic shapes, rounded containers, and playful graphic accents introduced warmth, while lifestyle imagery featuring pets and their owners reinforced relatability.
Typography and spacing were refined to maintain clarity and accessibility. The result was a welcoming interface that supports trust while encouraging interaction.
